PowerLed1

This is part of a ongoing project to replace as many of the common bulbs and halogens as possible with LED's. This time it's a book shelf light from Ikea thats being modified.

The victim:

The halogen was taken out and a Luxeon Star K2 took it's place. The reflector doubles as a cooler, a piece of copper foil is placed underneath the Star to help conduct heat.

Christmas lights

This is a project to have some nice lights on the door at christmas time. It uses battery power, it's hard to fit a wire onto the door. A PIC12F675 is used to create av PWM and act as a dark activated switch.
The schematic:

The Leds used are 6 warm-whites with 120 degress angle from Molelectric ( http://www.molectric.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_50&products_id=382 .

The power source is 3 GP2500 NiMH batteries, last year the leds lit for 31 days.

The code for the PIC is written in mikroC:

A little project built on a Thin Client motherboard. Nice box with a small footprint :)
No picture of the completed box yet :(

Humidity/Thermometer with PIC, SHT11 and LCD

This little project is a simple Humidity/thermometer which will be a part off a larger project. No schematic is available, but the connextions are really easy:

LCDEnable PortB, 3
LCDRS PortB, 4
_SHT11_SCK PortB, 6
_SHT11_DAT PortB, 5
LCD data lines 4-7 go to pins A0-A4

The sensor is a SHT11 from Sensirion (http://www.sensirion.com)
The PIC is a PIC16F628A

Software? Well it's TBA...

Another RGB-led

This is another PIC-based project which uses two RGB-leds. The plan is that the leds will light in different colors at each start.
